Palm Springs Farmers' Market

Yes, I am back, thank God!, he's kept me alive :). I recently had knee surgery and it has taken me a few days to recover. I want to thank all of you for your kind e-mails, I am behind on some postings but I will keep adding more images in the upcoming days. California Community Foundation Joan Palevsky Awards at the Getty Center

On Sep 16, I had the privilege to work at the Getty Center, Harold M. Williams Auditorium , where The California Community Foundation (CCF) and The Eisner Foundation celebrated the power and impact of philanthropy in Los Angeles by honoring 15 nonprofits "Unsung Heroes" for their outstanding achievements with cash awards.

Actor and CCF donor Noah Wyle hosted the Unsung Heroes event, which honored nonprofits for their innovation, resilience and impact in improving the quality of life for low-income L.A. residents in five areas: arts, education, health care, human development and neighborhood revitalitation.

Thank you ! California Community Foundation for making me part of such an amazing event.

The Getty Villa

AMAZING !! simply AMAZING !! was the experience of visiting The Getty Villa in Malibu, CA this past weekend. There were no bad angles , no bad places , every picture had unbelievable detail , color, meaning , it was a paradise . I felt like traveling to Europe. I just wish I've had more time , but don't count me out , I WILL BE BACK ! :) .

" The Third Street Promenade - Santa Monica, CA"

This past weekend I visited the Santa Monica third street promenade, I was surprised by the amount of photographers I found :) . The four block promenade strip has about everything, restaurants, magazine stands, stores and "LOTS OF PERFORMERS" , some claim to have participated on TV shows such as America's Got Talent . There was so much to photograph !! Here are some of my favorite images. The last one, is a unique and colorful house on Pacific Hwy, it looked like Barbie and Ken live there :) .

"Liz + Alex"

It was so much fun photographing Liz and Alex. They had a beautiful wedding, and a lot of guests. The celebration took place at the Glendale Civic Auditorium; it was awesome- I mean it. :o) There was a variety of music which included Mariachi, Banda Furia Sinaloense, Banda Limon and DJ Carisma from power 106 FM .

Thank you Liz and Alex for making me part of your wedding !! . Que Dios los bendiga en su matrimonio hoy y siempre.

I held back tears watching Alex & Liz breathtaking wedding pictures. I felt like I was watching a Robins Brothers engagement ring store commercial. Genesis Productions did a magnificent job. The photographers demonstrated a passion for what they do.

" Memorial Day 2009"

Let's not forget the true meaning of Memorial Day : A day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service, a day to keep in mind the sacrifices made by generations of Americans.

Early yesterday I attended the Memorial Day service at the Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, California where one could really feel the meaning of such an important day.

I have one word for Juan's work ~ phenomenal! We hired him at a last minute notice to do some shots at our Anaheim White House Wedding, and he went above and beyond anything we'd expected - under promising and over delivering!

The day of the wedding, Juan showed up early with a smile and mentionable patience.With a wedding party of over 100 family members there were many opportunities for frustration. Juan has an incredible way with people and his personality is unique and perfect for his profession. I thank God for him . . . . I will never forget him and I'm sure you won't either, when you hire him.

OH, lastly did I mention he stayed longer than he was contracted to? My Wedding arrangements $9,000, Mariachi $300, Wife bouquet $100, Juan's amazing package Priceless!!

Sandy and I want to thank you for your service. Let me tell you, we were more than surprised with your professionalism. I was blown away by your passion for what you do.
